DIY – All Purpose Cleaner with Vinegar

Lifestyle / Tuesday, February 11th, 2014

This was the first DIY all purpose cleaner recipe that I used. It works just as well as the other version, I just preferred no vinegar. this also makes double the amount than the other version, so when preparing, keep this in mind.

Materials Needed:
2 tsp Borax
1 ts Washing Soda
4 Cups Hot Water
1 tsp Dish Soap
4 tbls Vinegar
I first boiled my water, added the Borax and Washing Soda and stirred until dissolved in the hot water. In went the Dish Soap and Vinegar, give it another stir to make sure it’s all mixed well and put into a spray container.
The vinegar smell isn’t a strong one, but I noticed it and didn’t care for it. Granted, I’m very much pregnant right now and I can smell things a mile away. I might try this recipe again after baby is born sometime. It works like a charm to clean off my counters and I might add, does wonders at not leaving streaks on my stainless steel appliances. Something you won’t get with the other recipe. Perks of having the Vinegar. So if you want a true all-purpose cleaner where you can go from counter, to walls to appliances, this is the one for you!
Good luck and let me know how it works for you!
