National Walking Day

Today was National Walking day, a day to take a moment, grab your running shoes and go for a walk. The goal was 30 minutes, but Gregory and I went out and ran some errands. First, the library, to drop off some DVD’s daddy borrowed. Then the dollar store to buy some cute little bunny ears.

Gregory practically broke free from his stroller when we stopped on the grass at our last location and took off exploring. Here are some pictures from the day of play we have deemed classifiable as 30 minutes of walking for today.


The point of today is to help raise awareness of the health benefits walking provides. Here is an inforgraph I found that may be of some benefit to convince you to go for a walk. I doubt you need it after seeing how rad of a day we had. I don’t care to celebrate April fools, so this is our April 1st celebration.
