Wedding Guestbook

So after spending a fair amount of time on Pinterest as a Bride-to-be, I knew there were several things I wanted to attempt to have at my wedding. One of them being a finger print guestbook. Who wants a book that just gets put on a shelf and forgotten? Not me. I wanted something I could keep out and look at and remember everyone who came to celebrate love and the joining of two families. To always remind us that we are not alone.

I asked my mom to paint us a tree on some canvas, and she was more than willing and did an excellent job in my opinion. There were many different design ideas. A Bicycle, tree, house, balloons, etc. We went with a tree as we got married in the forest and it suited our ‘theme’ if you considered that ours. It turned out great, everyone loved the idea and my Tree-Print Guestbook is now hanging on my living room wall behind my couch where I look at it many times a day and get to smile.

We used 4 different colours. Two shades of green, one pink and one silver. That way guests could have their choice. Everyone wrote their names under/around their thumbprint so we know who is who. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to have a little fun and be outside of the ‘norm’. Who knows, maybe this is now considered the norm? After all, once something gets on Pinterest, it it likely to go viral sooner or later.
